Workshops at The Craft Atelier

Join us for a relaxed, creative session in our shop.

Our workshops last 3–4 hours, with small groups of up to four people, giving everyone plenty of individual guidance.

You’ll start a small project, learn the techniques to continue independently, and take it home to finish at your own pace.

Learn how to read a chart, start your thread, work cross-stitches and finish your stitching neatly while beginning a small project. No previous experience needed.

Discover how to follow a design, attach beads securely and create your first bead embroidery project. No previous experience needed.

Stitching & Bead Embroidery on Linen

For stitchers with some experience who want to explore working on linen, counting fabric threads and combining stitching with beads.

Beyond Cross-Stitch: Backstitch & Decorative Stitches

Learn how to add outlines, detail and texture to your work through backstitch and a selection of other embroidery stitches.

Enjoy themed projects for Halloween, Christmas, spring and summer—from small decorations to handmade gifts. Each workshop listing will explain the project and experience level.

Before your session

Choose your project

Once you’ve made your reservation, we’ll contact you with a selection of kits suitable for your workshop so you can choose your project in advance. Alternatively, you’re welcome to visit the shop before your workshop to choose your kit in person.

When you take it home

Support after your workshop

Your support doesn’t end when the workshop finishes. If you get stuck while completing your project at home, bring it back to the shop on Tuesday or Friday between 4 pm and 6 pm. We’ll help you work through any difficulties and explain how to continue.
