Meet the founder
The Craft Atelier is an independent embroidery and needlework shop created by Tatiana Horshkova — a stitcher who has spent more than half her life working with threads, kits and canvases.
A shop shaped by years of stitching
Tatiana’s experience sits behind every part of The Craft Atelier. Years of choosing materials for her own projects taught her that a beautiful design is only the beginning: the thread, fabric, needle and frame must work well together too.
That practical knowledge shapes the range today. It spans small, travel-friendly projects that can be enjoyed on a train journey as well as ambitious pieces made to be kept for years.

The Craft Atelier brings together specialist embroidery threads, cross-stitch and beadwork kits, needles, hoops, frames and accessories. The collection includes established names such as DMC and Abris Art alongside carefully chosen specialist supplies.

The business began online, shipping embroidery supplies from London. It has since grown into an independent shop in Kingston upon Thames, where customers can see colours and textures in person and ask for friendly, practical guidance.
